Speaking Memories – documenting Sweden’s last survivors is a unique project that we began working on in 2015 and launched in Spring 2016 together with Paideia, the European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden, Föreningen Förintelsens Överlevande i Sverige and Historiska museet.

The project includes workshops for survivors and Paideia fellows, open discussions and a collection of poignant portraits of Sweden’s last survivors taken by Karl Gabor together with written and video testimonies. If you know a survivor anywhere in Sweden who might be interested in being part of this important project – please mail us at info@judiskkultur.se.
