  • Admission to the Economy Museum located in the same building is included in the ticket.

Guided Tours

Vikings – one of the world’s largest Viking exhibitions

At the Swedish History Museum, you can explore the truth behind the legends in the Viking exhibition. Here, you’ll gain a unique insight into how people really lived, worked, and traveled during the Viking Age. Guided tours are available for groups, where knowledgeable guides share stories about everyday Viking life, their values, and their extensive travels, while you experience authentic artifacts and interactive elements that bring history to life.

About the guided tours:

  • June – August: Daily tours of the Viking World in Swedish or English is included in the admission. Limited number of spots.
  • It is allowed to bring your own guide. Authorized guides enter for free.

Book a tour: 50 min max 30 people

  • Weekdays: 2 500 SEK + 130 SEK per additional person
    Weekends and Wednesdays: 17.00 – 20.00, 3 500 SEK + 130 SEK per additional person
  • Languages: Swedish, English, German, French
