Senior Discount at the Swedish History Museum
This autumn, seniors aged 65+ can visit the museum at a discounted price. Explore the exhibitions when the museum is a bit quieter.
You’ll also have access to the museum’s audio guide, where you can listen to stories that enhance your experience.

As a senior aged 65+, you pay only SEK 100 for the entrance ticket and get the audio guide for free! (Regular museum entrance fee: SEK 150, audio guide: SEK 20).
Valid from September 1st to November 30th, weekdays Tuesday to Friday, from 11.00 to 15.00.
Experience History
Step into the world of the Vikings, walk through a thousand years of Swedish history, and meet people who lived long ago in the “Prehistory” exhibition. Also, don’t miss the Gold Room, where you can get up close to Sweden’s most prestigious gold and silver treasures.
At the Swedish History Museum, you’ll encounter the unexpected, as well as experiences that inspire reflection and thought!

Special offer at the museum’s restaurant from 13.00 to 15.00 PM: Today’s soup and a glass of wine for SEK 160 (with a non-alcoholic drink, SEK 120). You can choose to sit indoors or in the leafy courtyard.
