A thousand years of Swedish history

The exhibition “History of Sweden” is a concentration of events and personal destinies from the 11th century down to the present day. Influential men and women are highlighted, as well as class struggles, minorities and immigrants, all of whom have made their mark on history.

The exhibition has a chronological axis, with each century individually presented. The various rooms have educational stations. The History of Sweden is an introduction to the other exhibitions on the 1st floor.
