On selected Saturdays this summer, Huskarlarna will be training Viking Age combat techniques in our courtyard. Watch up close as they demonstrate how battles may have been fought more than a thousand years ago.

A housecarl was a warrior in the service of a chieftain or noble lord. This summer, you can see housecarls training as they did in the Viking Age.
