Creative Workshop: Magical Objects

Create your own magical object during the Easter Break! Join our creative workshop every day from 3 to 12 April, except Saturday 4 April when the museum is closed.

With the use of clay and your own imagination you can create a magical object for one of the Norse gods. If you like, you can write your own story about how it is meant to be used.

Suitable for kids from 5 years of age.

  • The creative workshop is free for children, but a ticket is required for both adults and children. Book tickets via the link above. Adults pay admission to the museum. Limited number of spots.
  • The Swedish History Museum, Narvavägen 17, Stockholm. T-bana: Karlaplan or Östermalmstorg.
  • The activity takes approximately 45 minutes. Suitable for kids from 5 years of age.

What to know before your visit

  • Admission: Free admission for children and youth aged 0–18. See admission fees for adults.
  • Cloakroom: The cloakroom is located on the entrance floor. Here you will find lockers with locks. Small bags are allowed inside the exhibition areas. If you want to store larger suitcases, you can borrow a key at the information desk for the larger lockers in the cloakroom.
  • Strollers: You are allowed to bring strollers inside the museum, except in the Gold Room.

We strive to continuously improve our accessibility to make it easy to visit us, both on-site and digitally. There are elevators to all floors, accessible toilets on all three levels, and disabled parking close to the entrance. Guide dogs are welcome.
