Here are the Swedish History Museum’s regular opening hours, extended hours during school holidays, and special hours on public holidays.

January 1 to May 31

  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday: 11:00–17:00
  • Wednesday: 11:00–20:00
  • Thursday–Sunday: 11:00–17:00

June 1 to August 31

  • Monday–Sunday: 11:00–17:00

September 1 to December 31

  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday: 11:00–17:00
  • Wednesday: 11:00–20:00
  • Thursday–Sunday: 11:00–17:00

Special opening hours

  • Monday December 22: 11:00–17:00
  • Wednesday December 24: Closed

Restaurant opening hours

The restaurant/café has the same opening hours as the museum. Free admission to the restaurant.
