Digital accessibility
How we adapt the website
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
The WCAG guidelines describe how web content should be adapted to be more user-friendly for everyone. The guidelines include three levels of accessibility: A, AA, and AAA. We have chosen level AA as the target for the Swedish History Museum’s website.

We collaborate with the web agency Bazooka, who programs our website, and partners who conduct user testing based on WCAG guidelines.
