On view 21 February 2026 to 10 January 2027

Join us on a playful journey back to the Viking Age and discover a Viking village! Play in the chieftain’s house, step into the forge and the barn, pet the animals on the farm, run along the jetties, and set sail aboard the village’s Viking ship. All houses and the Viking ship are open and accessible for play

Viking Life with Halvdan and Meia is suitable for preschool-aged children.

The exhibition is produced by Barnutställningar and is largely based on the books about Halvdan Viking by Martin Widmark and Mats Vänehem.
